I took my harp to a party….

The harp can be used in two different ways at parties.

Background music
It can be played as background music to create a relaxing atmosphere – so much better than canned music or CDs.

House concerts
For a party with a difference, the harp can be the centre point of a party, or in other words a house concert. The guests can have the usual drinks and refreshments, but at some point they would be called together to listen to a performance on the harp, probably shorter than a usual concert, but performances can be tailored according to the wishes of the host.

Events

Delyth has played at a wide variety of events, from garden parties to corporate functions, from graduation celebrations to christening parties.

As well as the usual type of venue, Delyth has played at some interesting and unusual locations including a small tent (when an outdoor birthday celebration was rained off), the Royal Yacht Britannia, and on the Worm’s Head in Gower for a National Trust event.

She has played for a wide variety of people including the Bee Gees, James Callaghan, Alvin Stardust, Prince Charles, and Paul Newman.
